Just returned home from a "trip of a lifetime" organized for us by African Trip Planners. Lee and Tony were excellent to communicate with and their attention to detail was over the top. I cannot imagine the time and effort that went into organizing this trip for us.

We arrived in Cape Town to an amazing villa, in the mountains overlooking the ocean! All the food for the 9 days had been ordered, as well as a chef & his team came in and cooked 3 fantastic meals for us. Each day the driver & vehicle were at our doorstep waiting to take us on an action filled day! We kayaked to see penguins, 2 days of wineries (I never knew South Africa had such fantastic wines), rappelling into a canyon, hiking Lion's Head, Cape Town Walking Tour, Hop on Hop off Bus. Our group was aged from 18 - 73 years old & it was a great balance of activity for everyone. It was so convenient to have everything already prepaid...included in our pricing was villa, food, excursions, drivers, flights, safari & tips.

Then it was on to Durban for a night & off to our 3 day Safari. This safari was insane...the accommodations were 5 star, the food and staff were amazing.... the first day we saw giraffe, elephants, 2 lioness & a lion, monkeys & rhinos. The vehicles turn off the road and drive right into the jungle, the lions & elephants are literally a couple of metres from us. We also saw cheetah & leopards (which I have learned are incredibly difficult to locate). One night we had dinner, bonfire & slept out under the stars, they set up our beds from our rooms (not cots) outdoors, it was stunning!

This trip far exceeded all of our expectations!!
