Lekker Lekker time!!
We enlisted African Trip Planners to plan our trip to South Africa in May 2022. Organizing a trip like this is very time consuming and can be difficult, and we had never been there before.  Having Lee and Tony plan this trip made it so easy!  They have personally experienced each of the sights and events we did so they were knowledgeable and knew what to expect. They organized all transfers and internal flights so all we had to do was be ready, show up and have fun.  We saw all of the best sights in and around Cape Town.  In Cape Town we toured the city; went to V&A Waterfront; did a very informative walking and food tour featuring great local foods and drinks; visited Table Mountain and hiked Lions Head Mountain.  Outside of Cape Town we went to amazing wineries; ocean kayaking; to Boulder’s Beach to visit penguins and also did canyon repelling.  Before leaving Cape Town on our last evening we went to an authentic South African dinner with entertainment. Tony even taught us how to dance the “Jerusalema“ so we could all take part at the end of the show in a group dance which was so much fun! 

The highlight of our trip was 4 days of safari on a private reserve at a luxury game lodge.  Each day we were taken on 2 game drives.  On the afternoon drive we participated in “Sun Downers” - an African happy hour to watch the sunset. We were so happy to see all of the Big 5 plus more, getting a close up view when possible.   It was a fantastic adventure and the best holiday ever!!
